Template of Doom

From this angle, the 2008 New England shirt looks pretty good.

From this angle, it looks worse than genocide.

I did see this tidbit before I clawed out my eyes, though:

MLS is changing the jersey letters and numbers which are not yet available, and therefore we do not have player or customized jerseys at this time.

I assume this is to frustrate bootleggers, who were able to approximate Beckham and Blanco jerseys with the greatest of ease.  I’d just as soon MLS go back to letting the teams choose their own fonts, but then I remember the Tampa Bay Mutiny digital numbers and decide to let MLS continue to ape the Premiership if they want to.

I know, we won’t know how they look until we see them on actual people.  I can’t imagine that armpit curve is going to look good on anyone, in any color, though.

The real news here is that the Revs have shirts ready to go eleven weeks before opening day, which, for those of us familiar with the pre-Adidas difficulty in getting jerseys during the regular season, let alone the preseason, is astounding.
